Protection Plan
Accidents Can and Do Happen while on vacation.
You may want to consider protecting yourself.
Program Outline
Jimmy Mack Vacations offers you an opportunity to protect yourself
from the high cost of accidental damage while staying at one of
Northern Michigan Vacation Rental Properties. The program also
keeps you from having to use hundreds of dollars in security
deposits before your scheduled arrival date.
The Basics
For a one time fee of $39 the Accidental Damage Protection Plan will provide coverage for accidental damage
taking place at the property during your stay for up to a total of $3000.00 in damage.
The coverage only applies to Accidental Damages that are reported PRIOR to your check-out
As with all of our Traverse City and Northern Michigan vacation rental properties, a credit card will be required
with participation in the damage waiver program.
Things to Consider
Last year we had a few claims on damage deposits resulting from simple accidents. The claims ranged from a
hot grill top placed onto an antique table, a child coloring on the carpet with marker, lamps being knocked
over and broken. Purchasing the Accidental Damage Protection Plan can help give you peace of mind during
your vacation.

The Accidental Damage Protection plan has certain conditions. The plan will not waive your liability for
damage or theft resulting from:

- Intentional Acts, and omissions by a Guest and/or travel companions. When the damages to the
Property could have been foreseen by a reasonable person including additional cleaning and/or
maintenance resulting from abuse and/or neglect. - Gross Negligence, reckless or willful disregard as to the consequences to the Property including loss or
damage by animals; - Loss or Damage for Guest damages in excess of the damage coverage amount
- Theft of items not reported (Theft requires both a police report and a report to Company staff as well).
- Check out procedures not followed
- Lost or stolen keys and keys not returned as directed.
- Coverage does not apply for theft or damage of any property owned by or brought on to the premises by
an Guest.
